Ice Cream, Ice Cream: They All Lined Up for Ice Cream

Alameda County Firefighters based in Newark's three fire stations came out to Baskin-Robbins Wednesday night to “Scoop Up Thanks” as part of the annual 31 Cent Scoop Night.

The nationwide event was held to support the National Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation. Baskin-R0bbins is donating $100,000 donation to say thanks to the firefighters and help support the families of deceased firefighters.

Families, couples, singles and friends lined up at the off Newark Boulevard throughout the event, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday.
