JCPenney Offering Free Back-to-School Haircuts

Here's a budget-friendly freebie you might want to know about. JCPenney is offering free back-to-school haircuts for kids during the month of August.

Beginning Aug. 1, kids in kindergarten through 6th grade can walk in, or make an appointment for a free haircut. Walk-in customers will be served on a first come, first serve basis.

JCPenney advertising lists a 855-JCP-KIDS as the number to call to make a free appointment in August, "while they last."

JCPenney is located at the , 500 Newpark Mall in Newark and at Southland Mall, 340 Southland Mall in Hayward.
