Jury Finds Zimmerman Not Guilty: Your Thoughts?

Over the weekend, one of the year's most watched trials came to an end. A six-person, all female jury, after deliberating for 16 hours and 20 minutes, found George Zimmerman not guilty.

Though the death in question and the case itself occurred in Florida, people all over the country followed it closely and had opinions about the State of Florida v. George Zimmerman.

The trial and verdict have raised questions about race, equality and justice in America, especially in the Bay Area where many have compared the case to Oscar Grant's.

Demonstrators gathered in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose in protest of Zimmerman's acquittal. Others took to the Internet instead of the street to show their support or disapproval of the verdict.

What do you think. Do you agree with the outcome? Was race an issue in the case? Add your opinion in the comments section.
