Morning commuters heading south, don't forget!
Kato Road in Fremont closes Monday for nine months to make way for BART. Construction crews are rerouting the road under the train tracks so transit can come down to the South Bay.
The driving detour is to Dixon Landing Road in Fremont. Allow some extra time — according to BART folks, the amount of morning traffic on Dixon Landing could nearly double.
