Last Call: Children's Summer Theater Workshop Auditions
Auditions begin at 10 a.m. Saturday

Saturday is the last day to audition for Stage 1 Community Theatre's summer workshop for children.
The non-profit community organization based out of Newark will be holding auditions for the children's program Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at ’s theatre.
All children and teenagers between ages 5 and 18 are invited to audition for the summer workshop that will lead to six performances of “The Wizard of Oz” in August.

The summer workshops will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursdays from June 28 to August 9, with the first performance being held August 10.
The cost is $250 for each child who participates.Families who have multiple children who participate pay $150 for additional participants from the same family.

Those who audition are asked to sing a song that he or she has prepared, learn a short dance and read a scene from the show. Sheet music or a CD must be brought to the audition. Click here for more details.
