Lucid To Open Orders For Electric SUV With 440 Mile Range On Nov. 7

The Gravity Grand Touring has a projected range of over 440 miles on a single charge.

NEWARK, CA — Lucid announced it will begin taking orders for its Gravity electric SUV on Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

The California electric vehicle maker has priced the Touring model from $79,900, the Gravity lineup offers a high-performance Grand Touring trim starting at $94,900, which is set to enter production by the end of the year.

Lucid says the Gravity Grand Touring will feature more than 800 horsepower and a projected range of over 440 miles on a single charge.

The model combines Lucid’s signature electric powertrain technology with a spacious design, including up to 120 cubic feet of cargo room and an optional "frunk seat" to accommodate two adults while the vehicle is parked.

CEO Peter Rawlinson highlighted the Gravity’s profile, "There is a growing anticipation for Lucid Gravity’s unprecedented combination of versatility, performance, design, and all-around capability."

Orders for the Gravity will initially be available to U.S. customers, with current Lucid owners receiving priority for delivery.

The SUV will feature configurable options, including a three-chamber air suspension for adaptive handling across various terrains.
