NEWARK, CA — Two people were in a pickup truck in Newark on Tuesday when a massive eucalyptus tree toppled onto it, trapping the victims inside.

The Alameda County Fire Department responded to extricate the pair.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Alameda County Fire Department is currently recruiting for dispatchers, trainees, EMTs, and paramedics.
