Newark Man Arrested for Touching Himself While Watching Kids

NEWARK, CA -- A man has been arrested for allegedly masturbating at a Fremont trampoline park frequented by kids.

On March 31, Fremont Police officers were dispatched to the Rockin’ Jump park in the 39100 block of Farwell Drive on the report of an adult male inappropriately touching his genitals while watching children play.

Several adults and employees confronted the suspect who then fled the business, police say. Witnesses and employees chased the suspect out of the business until the suspect reached his vehicle.

The witnesses were able to provide a license plate to the vehicle as the suspect fled the plaza. The owner of the vehicle was identified as the suspect by multiple witnesses. Officers immediately began to search for the suspect and eventually located him on April 9.

55-year-old Newark resident Jose Ortiz Felix was arrested and charged with engaging in lewd conduct in public.
