Police Looking For Missing Elderly Man
Jude Hunter, 81, was last seen in Oakland and was supposed to return home to Newark on Jan. 10. Police say he is at-risk and suffers from dementia.
Newark poilce is asking the community for help to locate a missing at-risk elderly man who suffers from dementia.
Jude Hunter, 81, of Newark was last seen at 10700 MacArthur Blvd. in Oakland at noon on Jan. 10 after leaving a doctor's appointment, police said in a community alert issued Wednesday evening.
Hunter was expected to return to his care home in Newark but never boarded the ParaTransit that would've taken him there.

He is described as a 5-foot-11, 180 pound black male who was last seen wearing a black shirt. His other clothing was unknown.
Police said Hunter has dementia and is required to take numerous medications, which he has not had since the morning of Jan. 10.
