The $500 Big Bang box of fireworks was sold to the family by two Musick Elementary teachers volunteering at the Newark Schools Foundation, Inc. fireworks booth, located off at 36665 Cedar Blvd. Most booths will close at 9 p.m. today and fireworks are only legal to use until midnight.
