Police: Home Burglarized After Suspect Poses As Salesperson
Authorities ask residents to report any suspicious activities.

Police are reminding residents to be aware their surroundings after an incident in which individuals burglarized a home shortly after one suspect posed as a salesperson.
Authorities investigated a residential burglary on Cypress Point Drive around 7:35 p.m. Wednesday and learned that witnesses reported a man had been seen running from the targeted home's back yard before police arrived.
Police said another witness saw a woman in her mid-20s described as 5-foot-7 and 145 pounds trying to sell cleaning products in the neighborhood about 30 minutes before the burglary.

The Newark Police Department advises that residents be on the lookout, keep their windows and doors locked and ask to notify the police department of any suspicious activities.
