Police: Homeless Man Arrested After Grabbing Child's Leg
The man was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

A homeless man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after it was reported that a man had grabbed a child’s leg at the Newark Library asking for money.
Police responded to the library around 3:45 p.m. to arrest the man who was identified as Michael Jackson who is 57 years old and a homeless man out of Rio Vista, according to the Newark Police Department.
He was arrested on suspicion of annoying or molesting a child less than 18 years old and was booked into Santa Rita Jail, police said. He is being held on $10,000 bail and is scheduled for an arraignment at 2 p.m. Friday, according to online court records.
