Police Investigating Burglary Out of Vehicle
The burglary was reported Saturday evening on Civic Terrace Avenue.

Police are searching for man after a report of a burglary out of a vehicle on Saturday evening.
Officers responded to the 6200 block of Civic Terrace Ave. around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday after a person reported interrupting a burglary after seeing an adult male inside a neighbor's vehicle, said Commander Robert Douglas of the Newark Police Department.
Police said the suspect was last seen running through toward Plummer Ave. and that the reporting party believed a gun was pointed at him.

A backpack and car stero is believed to have been taken, police said.
The man is described as a Hispanic adult male between 18 and 20 years of age and is about 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
