Police Searching for Trio after Home Burglary

The three were seen entering a home on the 6200 block of Brittany Avenue on Sunday.

Police are searching for three individuals after a home was burglarized on Sunday.

Two men and one woman are believed to be responsible for taking money and electronics equipment from a home on the 6200 block of Brittany Avenue between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Aug. 4, police said.

Police believe they gained entry through an open window, according to Commander Robert Douglas of the Newark Police Department.

Douglas said the three were last seen in a four-door, mid-'90s Oldsmobile Aurora, forest green with a gray strip on the bottom. The rear windows were tinted.

They are described as two black males and one black female adult. The woman was seen walking up to the victim’s residence, while one male stayed in the car as a look-out and the woman and other man entered the home, Douglas wrote in an email.
