Power Out for Hundreds of PG&E Customers in Newark
Power outage originally affected 275 customers. Full power restoration expected by 10 p.m.

Power was cut to 275 PG&E customers in Newark during a power outage Tuesday evening, a PG&E spokesperson said.
The outage began at 4:11 p.m. in an area west of Cherry Street between Jarvis and Central avenues, said J.D. Guidi, a PG&E spokesman.
Half of the affected customers will remain without power until about 10 p.m. Power was restored to approximately 138 customers by 7:35 p.m.

The cause of the outage is unknown and is under investigation, Guidi said. Crews are on site working to restore power.
