School Board to Review Revised Financial Report

The Newark Unified School District Board of Education will meet Thursday for a special meeting.

According to the agenda, the trustees will meet to discuss and vote on whether to approve a revised version of the district’s second interim report.

A second interim report is a document that outlines the status of the district’s revenues and expenditures as of January 31.

All school districts are required by state Education Code to file these types of financial reports to their respective county office of education twice a year.
