Teen Volunteers Hold Canned Food Drive

Give back and be entered in a raffle for a holiday prize.

A canned food drive is being hosted by the Newark Library’s Teen Advisory Group and those who participate will be entered into a raffle for two free movie tickets, according to the library’s website.

From now through Dec. 11, library visitors who bring a canned food item into the Newark Library will be placed into the raffle. The raffle will be held Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. and the winner will receive two tickets to Cinemark movie theaters, according to the website.

Raffle contestants do not have to be present at the meeting to claim their prize.
