Three Arrested After Late Night Home Burglary
A Newark man and two minors were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.

A 20-year-old Newark man and two minors were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary early Sunday morning in the Lake district.
Homeowners on Rutland Court called the Newark Police Department to report that their window screens had been pried off and their side garage door had been opened, setting off their home alarm system.
Police officers located a car matching a vehicle description provided by a neighbor and then arrested the trio, authorities said.
The 20-year-old was booked into Fremont Police Department Jail Facility and the two minors were released to their parents and given a notice to appear in juvenile court, according to Commander Robert Douglas of the Newark Police Department.
The arrest comes a month on suspicion of residential burglary in west Newark.
In that case, a 21-year-old man and 19-year-old man were arrested April 28 after a local resident called police to report two men jumping out of a vehicle and running away on Mahogany Place.
In the past few years, Newark . From 2009 to 2010, the number of residential burglaries increased nearly 25 percent, from 159 incidents to 198.
