Unity Dinner to Celebrate Indo-American Heritage
A seminar will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by the dinner at 7 p.m.

The Indo-American Community Federation will celebrate its heroes and heritage during their 12th annual Unity Dinner Friday.
The event starts with a seminar at 4 p.m. at the Newark Fremont Hilton, followed by a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
The evening will include a cultural program, an awards ceremony and more before winding down at 11 p.m., according to the Indo-American Community Federation’s website.

Guests of honors will include congressmen Mike Honda and Eric Swalwell.
The keynote address will be made by business executive B.V. Jagadeesh, owner and CEO of 3 Leaf Systems.

The community is also invited to the seminar, which will feature a presentation about Gadar Heroes — revolutionaries who helped rid India of British rule.
