Volunteers Sought for 9/11 Gardening Event
LOV teams with mall to garden as part of a 9-11 pledge to do good deeds within the community.

Newark residents are invited to join staff and the Tri-Cities League of Volunteers as they plant winter vegetables in the Garden of Love at 36120 Ruschin Drive on Sept. 7, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Duties will include tilling the soil and planting the vegetables. Volunteers are asked to bring gardening gloves and tools. Plants and seeds will be provided.
Vegetables from the three-year-old garden are distributed through LOV's year-round food pantry.
