Week in Review: Former Friend of Missing Nursing Student Arraigned on Murder Charges, City Council Approves New Neighborhood Plans

on Wednesday in connection with the investigation of missing nursing student Michelle Le, who went missing more than three months ago. Giselle Diwag Esteban, 27 — a former friend of Le — is , who was last seen in Hayward. She was arraigned Friday and is scheduled to enter a plea on Monday.

Newark police are searching for two men and one woman after sometime between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday.  Police learned the trio left in a four-door, mid-'90s Oldsmobile Aurora, forest green with a gray strip on the bottom, after observing a neighbor’s surveillance system.
