Week in Review: Men Arrested In Connection To Child Pornography, Police Search For Missing Elderly Man
Two Newark men were arrested Wednesday as part of a sweep of child pornography users and distributors, authorities said. Chen Yu Huang, 21, and Michael Angel Mendoza, 30, were arrested on suspicion of distribution and or possession of child pornography. Police are searching for an elderly man who didn’t return to his care home in Newark on Tuesday. On Friday, it was announced that a Tri-City high school teacher was arrested on suspicion of having sex with a student. James Logan High School teacher Peter Kolesnikov, 38, was arrested on Thursday and faces 22 counts of sexual assualt, including charges of statutory rape, oral copulation of a minor and communicating with a minor with criminal intent, according to Union City police. .
