Alert: Road Work on Dover and PCH
Construction on Dover Drive and Pacific Coast Highway between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. will continue through November.

The Orange County Sanitation District began construction on another phase of work on its Dover Drive Trunk Sewer Relief project last week. Officials said construction will continue through November.
The construction at the intersection of Dover Drive and Pacific Coast Highway takes place between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays, according to a project memo. The project is needed because the current sewer pipeline, which was constructed in 1952,is not large enough to handle the projected wastewater flows and needs to be rehabilitated, OCSD officials reported.
There will not be any full road closures in this phase of work, but there will be partial road closures and traffic lane closures. Officials said one lane of Pacific Coast Highway will remain open at all times during construction.
