Councilwoman Nancy Gardner stopped by Ashtin Salon earlier this week to help the owners welcome the community to their new beauty salon.
Wednesday's ribbon cutting signified Ashtin Salon's official opening in Corona del Mar, and was followed by a grand opening party and fashion show Thursday night. Owners Ashleigh and Metin Serdan have both worked as hairstylists for many years and said they are excited their dream of owning their own salon has come true.
"New businesses always bring new energy," Gardner said about Ashtin Salon. "It's great to have businesses with such enthusiasm for the village as well as their particular site."
The salon is open Tuesday - Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ashtin Salon is located at 2600 E. Coast Highway #120 in Corona del Mar.
