NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Laguna Beach, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Newport-Mesa Unified School District.

The first day of school for most students in Newport Beach is Monday, Aug. 21.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Winter Break: Monday, Dec. 25 through Monday, Jan. 8.

Last Day: Friday, June 7.
