Bud & Gene's Restaurant Takes Over Ruby's Location In Huntington Beach

Bud & Gene's celebrated their official ribbon cutting this week on the Huntington Beach Pier.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — The old Ruby's restaurant at the end of the Huntington Beach Pier has transformed into a sustainable seafood joint.

Aptly named after two of Huntington Beach's first lifeguards, Bud & Gene’s is the perfect name for the sentinel restaurant at the end of the famous Surf City landmark. Photos of the original lifeguards will set the tone of the decor in the restaurant that is ready to make its mark.

Inside, white picnic tables grace the wide windows with views of the Orange County coastline and the Pacific Ocean beyond.
