A burglar recently stole several expensive items from a home in Newport Beach while the residents were out of town, police reported. The home burglary took place sometime between Saturday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 17 at a home on Pacific Mist. According to police, the burglar used the resident's ladder to climb up to the upstairs balcony. Once on the second level, the burglar allegedly smashed a glass balcony door to get into the home. A men's Rolex watch, two Panerai watches, 15 designer handbags and several mail packages were stolen from the home.
