Chick-fil-A at Fashion Island will honor local military members and their families on Wednesday night with a free meal.
The third annual Military Appreciation Night will be hosted at 52 Chick-fil-A restaurants across Southern California on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. According to Chick-fil-A officials, all active military personnel and those who have honorably served, and their immediate family members, are invited to enjoy a free Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Meal, Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich Meal or Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kid’s Meal.
“We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to those who have honorably served our nation, along with their families, in the simplest way we know how: with great food," Adam Hoffman, a franchise operator of Chick-fil-A in Oceanside, said in a released statement. "Thank you for your service and dedication to our nation.”
Military Appreciation Night at Chick-fil-A is presented by Navy Federal Credit Union in celebration of Military Appreciation Month. The free Chick-fil-A meal offer is valid with a military ID or proof of service and is only available for dine-in customers.
More than 28,500 meals were provided to military service-members and their families since the event began in 2011.
