Car Fire Erupts In Orange County

A car erupted in flames in Newport Beach.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- A car erupted in flames Saturday afternoon in Newport Beach. The incident was reported around 3:09 p.m. in an underground level of a parking structure at 620 Newport Center Drive, according to a dispatcher.

The fire was contained to the car and extinguished within 20 minutes, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
