Pivotal Moment: After blowing the lead and trailing, 26-21, the Sailors were attempting to quash the momentum near midfield with a third-down conversion. Needing 1 yard to keep alive a drive, a Cole Norris pass was dropped, and on fourth down Norris fumbled the snap. Newport turned the ball over on downs and handed Mira Costa the game.
