Lobsterfest to Serve Up Succulent Seafood in Newport Beach
Lobsterfest comes to Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Fresh lobster flown in from Maine will be the main attraction next weekend at the 5th annual Lobsterfest at Newport Beach.
The foodie event will be hosted by the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 3 - 8 p.m. According to event organizers, Maine lobster will be flown in fresh that morning and will be prepared on site alongside a buffet that includes shrimp, mussels, tri-tip, corn-on-the-cob, salads and dessert.
The day will also feature live music, dancing, raffles, activities for kids and family-fun on the beach.

Lobsterfest tickets are $55 per person in advance through Aug. 8 or $75 at the door. Lobster lovers can buy more lobster for $20 each. A children's meal for kids under 12 is available for $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
VIP tickets, which include all-you-can-eat lobster, complimentary wine, valet parking and reserved seating are also available for $150 in advance.

A portion of the proceeds from Lobsterfest at Newport Beach will benefit Make-A-Wish Orange County and Inland Empire, and Leadership Tomorrow.
Lobsterfest will be held at 101 North Bayside Dr. Attendees should enter from Pacific Coast Highway.
