A student from Costa Mesa was killed Sunday when his car crashed into a tree, according to a report in the Daily Pilot. The student's name was not released, but he was identified as a 19-year-old student from Estancia High School, the newspaper reported. The deadly accident took place on Susan Street, south of Sunflower Avenue, according to the Orange County coroner's office.
