Assemblyman Names Newport Coast Resident Woman of the Year
Melinda "Mindy" Stearns was recognized on March 26 for her charitable work throughout Orange County.

Assembly Member Donald P. Wagner ( R-Irvine) has name Melinda "Mindy" Stearns as Assembly District 70's "Woman of the Year" for her dedication to philanthropic projects in Orange County.
Stearns, of Newport Coast, was recognized at a ceremony on Monday for her charitable work in the areas of education, arts, and military veterans' communities around Orange County. Wagner said Stearns is more than deserving of the recognition.
"Even with a busy family life, she is able to volunteer and has raised millions of dollars for dozens of organizations that provide educational opportunities for our nation's youth and its veterans," Wagner said. "I want to thank her for those contributions and let everyone throughout California know what an impact she's made in Orange County."
