Newport Beach Developer To Build New Shopping Center In Rancho Mission Viejo
Rancho Mission Viejo residents will soon have a 175,000 square-foot shopping and community center with its own supermarket, gym and more.
RANCHO MISSION VIEJO, CA — Rancho Mission Viejo residents will soon have a new shopping and community center, after Newport Beach-based real estate development company Westar Associates announced its plans to break ground on the center this week, the Capistrano Dispatch reported.
The company recently announced that leasing efforts have officially started for Esencia Commons in Rancho Mission Viejo's Village of Esencia, the report said.
The center will span 175,000 square-feet and include a supermarket, gym, gas station, retail services and restaurants. The center will also include an open area called "The Commons" will sit in the center for the community to have concerts, movie nights and other events, the report said.
