Newport Harbor Girls Return To D1 Girls Soccer Playoffs In 2022

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The CIF Southern Section Division 1 Girls Soccer brackets are out, leaving high schools across the southland scrambling to see where they fall in the coming playoffs.

In Newport Beach, the Newport Harbor girls soccer team is headed back for the 2022 playoff season.

Newport Harbor finished at #1 in the Wave Division, with a record of 12-9-4. They will face Chaminade, who finished #2 in the Mission League, with a record of 15-2-3.

Games and times may vary and be updated in the first round of Division 1 CIF-SS playoffs.

(Team listed first will be hosting the first game in the contest for the Southern Section title).

The final CIF-SS Division 1 poll, released Tuesday, placed Santiago in the tops spot, Temecula Valley at #2 for the region with Harvard Westlake, last year's top winner, at #3.
