The new school year is quickly approaching, and as kids get ready to head back into the classroom the Newport-Mesa Unified School District wants the community to be aware of its policy on bullying.
Students and their parents are urged to report bullying to the district, by sending and email to tipline@nmusd.us. An anonymous note may also be dropped in the bullying report box located at every N-MUSD school site.
According to a memo posted on the district's website, "every student is entitled to a safe school environment free from discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying."
