Pedego Electric Bikes to Host Grand Opening

Pedego Corona del Mar will host its grand opening on Saturday, May 4 at noon.

Pedego Electric Bikes opened its doors over the summer and offers a variety of models including cruisers, commuters, tandems, interceptors and a petite 24” size. Co-owner Hal Pisors said the electric bikes can travel at speeds up to 20 miles per hour, can be pedaled if the rider chooses and are a great way to get around town.

“You can get as much exercise or as little as you want," Pisors said. "And hills are no longer a problem, either."

Pedego offers electric bikes for purchase or rental, and tours for groups of up to six people.

At Saturday’s grand opening there will be giveaway drawings where people have the opportunity to win bike accessories, Pedego watches, Braker Skateboards, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar certificates and certificates good for a one-hour Pedego bike rental. A grand prize drawing for a two-hour, guided Pedego bike tour for two through Corona del Mar and Newport Beach will also be held at 3:30 pm.

Pedego Electric Bikes is located at 2515 East Coast Highway in Coronal del Mar and is open 7 days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
