Police Need Board Games for Sick Kids
The Newport Beach Police Association has partnered with the non-profit Miracles for Kids to collect board and card games for local children with life-threatening diseases.

The Newport Beach Police Association has joined forces with the charity Miracles for Kids to collect board games for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Through Friday, March 22 new and unwrapped card and board games, such as Monopoly or UNO, are being collected in the lobby of the Newport Beach Police Department at 870 Santa Barbara Dr. A large, gift-wrapped “Miracles for Kids” collection box is located just inside the front doors and the NBPA hopes the community will help out.
“These brave kids are going through more than any of us can imagine. We know that smiles and laughter are strong medicine," Jeff Munsell, president of the NBPA, said in a released statement. "Hopefully these games help in their recoveries.”
