COSTA MESA, CA — A Los Angeles-based fast-food chain is deepening its roots in Orange County, after Shake Shack announced three new locations to open in Brea, Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach, The OC Register reported.

The well-known burger stop will open in Brea inside the former Corner Bakery location at 103 W. Imperial Highway, which closed last August, the report said.

A drive-thru eatery at 20100 Brookhurst Street in Huntington Beach is also slotted to open, the newspaper said. In Costa Mesa, an old IHOP at 333 E. 17th Street was destroyed last year specifically to make room for a third Shake Shack, the Los Angeles Times reported.
