Woman Found on Side of Freeway with Serious Burns
Orange County fire investigators are hoping witnesses can unravel the mystery.

A 50-year-old woman sustained serious burns in a vehicle fire on the northbound 73 Toll Road Tuesday night.
Officials from the Orange County Fire Authority and the California Highway Patrol are hoping to find witnesses that may have seen the events leading up to the fire, said Captain Steve Concialdi.
The woman was found at about 8:40 p.m. with second- and third-degree burns on 27 percent of her body and her car was on fire between Glenwood and El Toro Road.

She was transported to Western Medical Center Santa Ana’s Burn Center in serious condition.
Witnesses are asked to call the Orange County Fire Investigation Office at (714) 573-6709.
