1 Dead In Golden State Freeway Crash In SFV
The Sun Valley-area wreck was logged early Monday on I-5, officials said.
SUN VALLEY, CA — One person was killed early Monday in a solo vehicle crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley.
The crash occurred around midnight on the northbound Golden State Freeway at Glenoaks Boulevard, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Kravig said. There were no reports if there was anyone else in the vehicle or whether there were other injuries.

A SigAlert was issued shutting down all northbound lanes and diverting traffic off the freeway at Glenoaks Boulevard.
