2 Die In Tujunga Crash Involving Big Rig, Car
Two people are dead after a car slammed into the back of a big rig in Tujunga.
LOS ANGELES — Two people died Monday afternoon when a car smashed into the back of a big rig in Tujunga.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday on the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway, near La Tuna Canyon Road, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. News helicopter video showed the car wedged underneath the semi-trailer.
Firefighters found two people dead at the scene of the wreck. The westbound lanes were shut down following the crash, and have since reopened.
