$50K Reward Offered in Valley Glen Hit-and-Run Case
A suspect is still being sought in the death of an 18-year-old who was on his bike at the time of the collision.
The family of an 18-year-old Valley Glen resident who was fatally run over in March in his neighborhood hope a $50,000 reward will help find the driver that fled the scene.
They will join L.A. City Councilman Paul Krekorian Tuesday for a 9 a.m. press conference at city hall in asking the council to approve the reward amount.
On March 24, David Alexander Granados was riding his bicycle along Oxnard Street near Bellaire Avenue when a vehicle collided with him and continued on, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Granados was transported to a hospital where he dided the next day, authorities said.
The LAPD's Valley Traffic Division released a video clip Friday of a Mercedes Benz ML whose driver is wanted for questioning.

"The suspect is believed to be an older male of unknown ethnicity," according to LAPD media relations. "The suspect was driving an older model silver or grey Mercedes Benz ML at the time of the accident."
