Early Morning Fire Extinguished In North Hollywood
The deceptively small fire took just 20 minutes to extinguish, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters extinguished a deceptively small fire in North Hollywood early Wednesday morning. The fire was reported at 2:21 a.m. at 6661 N Lankershim Bl. near Vanowen Street., Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Upon arrival, firefighters first thought the one story commercial building was mostly beyond saving, but after deeper inspection they discovered the majority of the fire was in an outside area. 40 firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze in 20 minutes, limiting the amount of damage.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
