Firefighters Knockdown Apartment Fire In North Hollywood
Seven people inside the apartment managed to safely escape, and no injuries were reported.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A small fire broke out in a ground floor apartment in North Hollywood Sunday afternoon, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The fire started around 2:03 p.m. at 6847 N Gentry Ave., a 2 story "garden-style" apartment complex.
Seven people who were inside the apartment managed to safely escape before firefighters arrived. LAFD said 20 firefighters extinguished the blaze in 9 minutes, containing it to its original room.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire isn't yet known.
