Firefighters Extinguish Business Fire in 8 Minutes

Los Angeles city firefighters took just eight minutes to douse a fire in a single-story North Hollywood business structure tonight, department officials said.

Twenty-five firefighters responding at about 9 p.m. confined the blaze to a restaurant in the 11700 block of Sunnymede Street, LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.

The cause was under investigation, Humphrey said.
