How Fast Are Apartments Rented in North Hollywood?

It's no surprise that homes in L.A. can remain on the market for months and years thanks to the economic downturn, while apartments are being rented at a much quicker rate.

Curbed L.A. recently reported that the neighborhood of Beverly Glen was renting apartments so quickly, some were listed for no more than eight days.

In North Hollywood, the average length of time for a unit to be rented is 27 days with an average monthly lease cost of $1,427.

Other San Fernando Valley communities like Encino, North Hills, Studio City, Canoga Park and others go without signing a lease for longer than that.

Maybe there's some sort of geographical trend based on how long an apartment sits on the shelf?
