Kaiser Permanente Opens NoHo Offices

A ribbon cutting event was held Thursday for Kaiser Permanente's new NoHo medical offices, which occupy the top two floors of 5250 Lankershim Blvd. and is offering general family care and other services.

Eight-physicians--though more are expecting to be brought on board--will lead a team specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics and OBGYN spread across 31,760 square feet. There's also an x-ray room, a lab and a pharmacy.

"It only gets better from here," said Jennifer Bodar, a nursing administrator with Kaiser Permanente, during the grand opening. "Now we get to do what we're good at and that's provide quality care for our patients."

This marks the second time in its history Kaiser Permanente opened an office in North Hollywood; its first in the San Fernando Street was along Hamlin Street in 1954 with a four-physician team.
