The annual L.A. Shorts Fest is in town at the Laemmle NoHo 7 and each night, patrons can watch 5-30 minute films from a specific genre.
On Friday night, there will be a horror movie program and a comedy program starting at 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively. General admission tickets are $12, but other package deals are available.
Through next Thursday, there will be a sci-fi program, a strong women program, a love program among others.
Some shorts are featuring celebs like Elijah Wood, Christopher Lloyd, George Takei, Ian McKellan and Cate Blanchett.
