Twenty-nine-year-old actor Lee Thompson Young died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound as stated in his death certificate, the LAist reports.
The former teen star of the Disney Channle's The Famous Jett Jackson was found dead on Aug. 19 at his North Hollywood apartment.
Police went to check on him when he failed to show up for a shoot on his latest show, TNT's Rizzoli and Isles.
Young did not leave a suicide note, but some family members said he was suffering from depression, according to the LAist.
